Urban Green Spaces: Why does community need them?

The inspiration to write my blog about this topic came from recently spending my holiday camping in North Wales. We stayed at the Ynys Môn À Mõr campsite where as a family we immersed ourselves in the great outdoors for one week in late September. I am a part-time mature student doing an undergraduate Higher National Diploma in Environment, Sustainability and Climate Change at University of Wales, Trinity St David, since 2021. I am motivated to pursue a career path in this subject area, as I want my young son to thrive on planet Earth, and see the beauty nature has to offer. I enjoy nature, and like many, felt more connected than ever with nature during lock-downs. I firmly believe that protecting the environment is our priority right now, due to the ongoing climate and environment emergency, and by improving my ecological education, I hope to contribute more to its conservation. I am fascinated by all nature and always seek to improve my knowledge by reading nature books, watching TV programs and listening to pod casts. In my former career as a Doctor in Histopathology, I have enjoyed microscopy work, involving skills such as learning about human diseases and solving problems. I would like to use my background knowledge and ski...
